Located next to Sumiyoshi-bashi Bridge on Route 2. Near Josei-ji.
As access was forbidden to the back and sides of the shrine, I was unable to get seperate photos of both trees.
Japanese Black Pines: 1300m x 2
Plaque: (same for both trees)
This black pine survived the atomic bombing on August 6 1945. It was moved to its current position during the renovations of the main building in 1995.
